DRESSAGE: NETHERLANDS’ ZOUTENDIJK PRODUCES HIGHEST SCORE OF THE DAY Dressage was the first discipline to take place at the FEI European Pony Championships 2013 in Arezzo (ITA) and, with just two riders from each nation completing their test, it is Germany that holds the early lead in the Team Competition. The combined scores of Nadina Krause (Danilo) and Sophie Kampmann (Voyager) put the German total at this halfway stages at 151.205, with The Netherlands in second with 147.308 and Denmark third with 137.00. A total of 13 nations are competing. The biggest score today was registered by Dutch rider Lisanne Zoutendijk and her nine-year-old gelding Champ of Class who produced a courageous, forward-going and harmonious test that demonstrated the strength of their partnership, achieving a score of 75.821. The Team Dressage competition resumes tomorrow (Thursday) morning at 8am local time.
